Join the SSC for a week in this renowned resort. Ski non-stop for a week, from peak to peak! - uphill lift capacity is 41,465 skiers per hour, onto 165 named trails, all covering 2965 ”permitted” acres of powder, corduroy, and fun! With an annual snowfall averaging 30 feet, excellent conditions are guaranteed - sure to wear out even the heartiest skiers!!

Guided Mountain tours are complimentary and available daily; additionally the “Over the Hill Gang” focuses on those skiers over age 50 and provides “level appropriate” day tours of the Mountains; ski with Olympian/World Champion Billy Kidd; participate in the Mogul clinic with Olympian Nelson Carmichael; take a Guided Nature Ski Tour; enjoy a Snow Shoe Tour or Scenic Gondola ride; visit the historic town and Howelsen Mountain where it all began, wind your way through the Yampa River Valley on delightful, peaceful Nordic trails, and MORE!!

The Ptarmigan Inn offers ski-in/ski-out convenience and is located steps away from the Steamboat base gondola, taking you quickly into the heart of this vast ski area. Located in the Inn, the Snowbird Restaurant & Lounge is also a favorite après ski location for ski guides and locals. Hotel amenities include an Outdoor Pool and Hot Tub, Indoor Sauna, On-site ski & board shop, complimentary ski valet and laundry facilities.
