Yes! The SSC is going to Thailand – Land of Smiles – Join us on this 14 day adventure as we visit three different areas in Thailand.
The trip starts in bustling Bangkok where we will visit all the major Temples & the Grand Palace, previous home of the Thai Royal Family. We’ll learn about the Buddhist and Thai culture, shop at the floating market, participate in a Street Food tour, enjoy a Tuk Tuk ride and bicycle in the lush ‘Bangkok’s Green Jungle’.
We then head north to Chiang Mai. There we will
take a songtaew (local truck) to meet with villagers; learn about local agricultural products and take a raft ride to an elephant sanctuary where we will interact with the Elephants. The highlight of this segment of the trip is participating in the Yi Peng Lantern Festival.
Our final destination is the spectacular waters & beaches of Phuket. We will embark on a Longtail boat to visit scenic Phang Nga Bay, stopping at “James Bond Island” and secluded sandy beaches. We’ll also boat to the Phi Phi Islands with opportunities to swim and snorkel and discover the plentiful underwater beauty.
