We will venture down the York River to York Harbor and Will’s secret beach, (not any more). Meet at the Scotland Bridge Rd. York, Maine. Parking there is limited and there is a shuttle. Please carpool if you can, and volunteer for the shuttle if you have a larger vehicle. This is a moderate trip for people who can deal with a strong current from the harbor to the ocean with heavy boat traffic. Potluck BBQ afterward.
New Castle trip will visit inner Portsmouth Harbor, usually passing Strawberry Banke Pierce Island following the flow of the tide. Harbor has strong tidal currents and boat traffic. We come back to a nice beach for lunch, swimming and games. There will be a potluck/BYOB BBQ at Ric Miller’s house in Eliot, ME. Meet at the Odiorne Point boat launch bridge,Rye, NH.
The Gloucester, MA trip will explore the tidal areas of the Annisquam River. Pay-as-you-go lunch afterward at a local eatery. Directions to the meeting place will be provided.
Great Bay - put in by the
Doverbridge. Potluck BBQ afterward.
Although there is no cost, SIGN UPS ARE REQUIRED with a maximum of 12 participants from each club. Come make new= friends, as this trip is offered jointly to SSC and Ski Club of New Hampshire. Sign up early as the trips will fill up.
