First, enjoy a Saturday morning hike of 5 miles:
Hike through pristine Ovens Mouth Preserve, an easy five mile hike through a unique 146-acre parcel of scenic shoreline bordered by swift tidal water, quiet coves and salt marshes. Of the three peninsulas at Ovens Mouth, the preserve includes those on the east and in the middle.
Then, enjoy a leisurely afternoon bike ride with ocean views:
We will wind our way along quiet roads winding around the bays. Be sure to bring your binoculars as you’ll observe splendid wildlife along the way.
Bring your lunch for a picnic!
Cabbage Island Clambake out of Boothbay Saturday evening:
Your Downeast Clambake adventure begins with a scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor aboard the Bennie Alice, en route to 5-1/2 acre Cabbage Island in Linekin Bay. Once on the island, enjoy an authentic meal including a steaming cup of traditional New England Fish Chowder, two luscious bright red lobsters, tender white steamed clams wrapped in foil, sweet golden corn on the cob, onion, and new Maine potatoes. For dessert, you will love our famous Blueberry Cake with hot fresh coffee or iced tea.
$58.95 for boat and island dinner.
Group get together Friday evening, Saturday afternoon cocktails and group brunch Sunday morning for anyone interested. Locations to be announced.
Sunday Morning Kayak Trip:
Join the Transit River Kayaking Company for a full or half day guided tour (group choice) to meander through the islands of the coast and into the Sheepscot River.
Pricing includes rental equipment and instruction with a Maine guide.
Half Day Wildlife Tour: $45 with or without kayak
We need a 10 person minimum!
