BIG TRIP: JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING

The “Tramformation” is just about complete with the new cars on the cable and wrapped in warm, protective red, secret blankets; just waiting to lift us to the top! And it’s been snowing out there for several days now; just think how deep it will be by Feb. 1st. But the new tram is not the only reason to head west “young person”, because if you don’t go this year you will be a year older! And the “old Jackson Hole” will be just a little more “modern”.

But the Town of Jackson still provides the “old west” flair with wooden sidewalks and saloons (with 2-stepping), and of course shops and more shops. Jackson Hole is not all steeps, bowls, and chutes. Plenty of “calm” trees and open “blue” slopes to play on and improve your technique for the Steeps!! And of course, the “old fashion snow”, all 456” average will once again “sugar coat” the mountain.

And for those up to the challenge ride the new tram (bigger and faster) to the top and do a “non stop” leg burning 4,139 vft run to the base and hit the Mangy Moose for a cold one to cool your heals, ‘cause they’ll be smoking after a real top to bottom run!!.

Your week’s home will be Wind River Condos, true ski in/ski out, 4 bedroom, 4 bath units with large open living room, stone fireplace, dining room, washer/drier, and a kitchen “fit for a king”. And just 150 yards to the health club.

          Ski 4 days at Jackson and 1 at Grand Targhee, known for trees and powder without people! Plus group pot luck dinner, western trip favor, air to/from Boston with transfers.
